So apparently parallel worlds are now the newest "thing".  I have read 4 books in the last 2 months about parallel worlds... I find that a little odd.  I will be honest, I had heard rave reviews from other bloggers about this book- which is what made me interested to begin with, but I also read the blurb.  When I read that it included a princess storyline- well... I am a bit of a sucker for a princess story!

I don't feel as strongly about this book as others did.  I enjoyed it, but it wasn't life altering for me (but that may be because I wasn't able to read it in long sections- it took me almost 2 weeks to read in short spurts because life has been so busy).  I had no issue with the plot, characters, or well, anything.  It simply isn't sticking with me.

I do think that the small part about the fact that when you touch your "double" in a parallel universe- they get snapped back into the other universe.  It led to some pretty interesting plot points.  Tandem is obviously the start of a series (more specifically a trilogy) and I am looking forward to reading it and learning more of our characters' histories.
