Who is Pusheen? This collection of oh-so-cute kitty comics—featuring the chubby, tubby tabby who has taken the Internet by storm—will fill you in on all the basics.

Things you should know about Pusheen.

Birthday: February 18
Sex: Female
Where she lives: In the house, on the couch, underfoot
Her favorite pastime: Blogging, sleeping
Her best feature: Her toe beans
Her favorite food: All of them

Pusheen is a pleasantly plump cat who has warmed hearts and tickled funny bones of millions worldwide with her signature GIF animated bops, bounces, and tail wiggles. Now, Pusheen is ready to make the leap from digital to print in her first comic collection! Learn what makes her purr and find out why millions of people have already fallen in love with this naughty, adorable kitty. Featuring some of the most popular stories from Pusheen’s Tumblr and Facebook pages (plus a healthy serving of never-before-seen material), I Am Pusheen the Cat is a treat for cat lovers and comics fans alike.

Do you like cats? Do you like cute drawings of cats?  Then check out I Am Pusheen the Cat!  Pusheen is an internet favorite, with her bouncy internet GIFs and adorable cartoons, and now the sweet and simple drawings of Claire Belton are collected in one place.

This is definitely a book for all ages.  Children will appreciate the pictures and funny situations that Pusheen and Stormy (the puffy little kitten) get themselves into.  And adults, especially cat lovers, will appreciate the sly (but always clean) humor and realities of life with a cat.  Chewed-up belongings, sleeping anywhere but on the adorable cat bed you just bought, and constantly whining for food are pretty much normal events in a cat owner's life, and Belton's drawings capture those moments with perfection.

My favorite section of the book is "A Year in the Life of Pusheen", which has comics for pretty much all of our major holidays, at least here in the US.  Check out Halloween costumes (look out for the "monster"), reasons to love fall (spoiler: pie), Valentines from your cat, and more.  This is a very quick read, since there are really only a few words per page, if that, but I still chuckled to myself a whole lot.

If you like cats and adorable cartoons, this is a great addition to your bookshelf.  In closing, here is a picture of one of my own monsters, Chumley, who has chewed through plastic bags, headphone cords, reusable shopping bags, a pair of shoes, and a bra.  He's very lucky he's cute.
