Summary taken from Goodreads:

Kitty has been tapped as the keynote speaker for the First International Conference on Paranatural Studies, taking place in London. The conference brings together scientists, activists, protestors, and supernatural beings from all over the world—and Kitty, Ben, and Cormac are right in the middle of it.

Master vampires from dozens of cities have also gathered in London for a conference of their own. With the help of the Master of London, Kitty gets more of a glimpse into the Long Game—a power struggle among vampires that has been going on for centuries—than she ever has before. In her search for answers, Kitty has the help of some old allies, and meets some new ones, such as Caleb, the alpha werewolf of the British Isles. The conference has also attracted some old enemies, who’ve set their sights on her and her friends.

All the world’s a stage, and Kitty’s just stepped into the spotlight

I will be completely honest.  I saw the title of this book and saw that it had to do with paranormal and I jumped at the chance to read it.  I, however, did not notice that it was the tenth book in the series!  I was worried that I would have absolutely no idea what was going on in the book for that exact reason, but what I found was quite the opposite.

Kitty is a werewolf (ironic much?) and is an investigative reporter and also the host of her own radio talk show.  From what the book described, the paranormal world is not unknown to the rest of the world.  Vampires, fae, and werewolves (as well as ghost and other things) are a visible part of the world and are fighting for their own rights.  It was an interesting take for a story- typically paranormal stories go with the thought that vampires and werewolves exsist, but only in secret.  It was interesting seeing them picketing and doing all sorts of other "human" things.

I enjoyed this book and only found myself confused once or twice (since I had never read a Kitty Norville book before).  I enjoyed it enough that I would like to start at the beginning of the series and read it the entire way through.  I would recommend this to fans of more mature YA and of paranormal books.  There was only one sex scene with a married couple and it was not graphic in any way so I do think fans of YA would appreciate this book.
