The Cover:  I love this cover!  It just screams fairy tale to me.  The rose, the blood, the vines around the text- it is absolutely perfect!   I have nothing else to say- I wouldn't change a thing!


The Characters:  I loved Mirabelle.  I loved that she was completely confused and wasn't buying into the entire curse thing right away.  I loved the "villans" in the book (although for sake of spoilers, they must remain unnamed).  I loved the entire cast of characters that the author created.  I would LOVE to see this as a movie or show- it would be perfect!


The Story:  This was such a fun story.  I can absolutely see it appealing to fans of the show "Once Upon a Time".  The story revolves around a coastal town that seems to be cursed by fairies- where inhabitants of the town are cursed and blessed with fairy tales that they must live out.  Some of these fairy tales are not so bad.  Some are deadly.  Mirabelle has been cursed by her own fairy tale- and it isn't hard to pick up on which tale she has to act out.  It is hinted at throughout the book.  The problem is, Mira gets tangled up in other fairy tales too- and these aren't so pretty.  This book was such a joy to read- I honestly couldn't put it down.  Like how you would imagine fairy tales, this one has an almost completely happy ending and left me with a warm gushy feeling.
