Summary taken from Goodreads:
Laurel now knows the
truth: Yuki is a rare Winter faerie, the most powerful—and deadly—of
all, and she is working with Klea to conquer and destroy Avalon. With
Tamani, David, and Chelsea by her side, Laurel prepares for a fight she
never thought she would have to face.
Filled with heart-pounding action, sweeping romance, and higher stakes at every turn, Destined is the series conclusion that readers have been clamoring for—with a twist that will leave them breathless.

Tamani looked at her gravely, and reached up to touch her hair behind her ear. He hesitated for an instant, then his hands found the sides of her face, pulling her to him. He didn't kiss her, just held her face to his, their foreheads resting together, their noses almost touching.
She hated how much it felt like good-bye.
The Cover: I am such a fan of these covers. I love their simplicity and I love that there are no cover models in flowy dresses on them (even though for once it would be absolutely appropriate). I am curious if the flower on the front is Yuki's flower. It sounds very wintery, though I am pretty sure her's was described as white with more of a poinsettia looking bloom. I love that this cover is predominantly blue, while the other covers were more pink.
The Characters: All of my favorite characters are back- Tamani, David, Laurel, and Chelsea. I love that although Laurel is the main character- it didn't feel like the story revolved around her. The narrative was shared between Tamani and Laurel and I really enjoyed seeing who Laurel finally picked (and I absolutely agree with her choice).
The Story: The story was non stop action. This was not a book you had to worry about becoming too boring. The story moved so quickly, especially in the last half, that i found myself rereading sections because I had missed so much information! I love the romantic tension, the fact that David becomes an integral part in saving Avalon and that the story is relentless to both the characters and the reader. Characters we have come to love in the series meet a heroic but ad death. There is an epilogue at the end of the story that is set a few years after the conclusion of the series. I don't want to really go into the epilogue because it would spoil the entire book for you, but I have mixed feelings on it. All in all this was a fantastic finish to one of my very favorite series about the fae.
