Mandi's Thoughts on What's Wrong With Me?

What I love most about this book is that Daree Allen doesn’t pack any punches. She is more than willing to tell it like it is, but in a loving, I’m telling you this because I care kind of way.
This book talked about a lot of major issues that teenage girls deal with on a daily basis. She talks about everything from sex to eating problems to family issues. And she’s very honest. She open about her life and experiences, and she’s using them to help other girls grow into mature, healthy women of God.
I also loved that she is honest about what she does and doesn’t know. She doesn’t claim to be an expert or the only opinion out there about these issues. She doesn’t talk about things that she has no experience with. And she doesn’t preach.
I will definitely recommend that the girls in my youth group read this book, or at least refer to it in difficult situations.
